Meridian Atlas (“we”, “us”) is an investments and advise practice based in The Hague, Netherlands. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question, contact us at secretary@meridianatlascap.com.
2. What we collect
We only collect data you choose to give us, and basic technical data:
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form we receive your name, email address, organisation and message.
- Correspondence. Emails and documents you send us in the course of an enquiry or engagement.
- Technical data. Standard server and analytics logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and reliable.
3. Why we use it
We use this data to respond to your enquiry, to provide and administer our services, to meet legal and regulatory obligations, and to protect the security of our site. Our lawful bases are your consent, the performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in running the firm, and compliance with the law.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, under appropriate agreements — including our website host (Vercel) and our email delivery provider (Resend) for processing contact-form messages. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymise it. Data tied to an engagement is retained for the period required by our professional and legal obligations.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you may object to certain processing or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email secretary@meridianatlascap.com. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
7. Cookies
This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary to function and, where enabled, privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
